Another set of photographs scanned from the collection of my friend Corydon Ronnau. Some of them were quite damaged and a few remain stuck together forever. This is what he had to say about their origin:

“Among the photos were some correspondence from the G.I.’s family after he returned home. He had fallen into addiction and become estranged. Attempts to contact him went nowhere. He seems to have disappeared.”

These photographs were scanned from the collection of my friend Corydon Ronnau. This is what he had to say about their origin:

“These photos were found in a wooden box in a derelict van that had been towed to a salvage yard. They seem to have been taken by a G.I. with ancillary duties, as none of the photos I left behind were taken in the field.”
