SOLDIER'S DISEASE

PHOSPHORESCENT VOID

More shots from my tour of Kink.com‘s Armory in SF. This is from the area (previously a wall, now a long narrow room) known as the Bondage Wall. I think the photos speak for themselves as to why. The individual sets and directors have their own tools, but this area is where most of the common goods are stored when not in use.

NOTHING OF THE THRESHER

Another round of shots from Kink.com‘s Armory, this time in the bar used for parties and Public Disgrace, the basement bathroom, and the prop storage area where some of the Fucking Machines were being stored while they were working on that studio. Fuckzilla looks pretty impressive in person, although I didn’t get to see him in action.

BLACK POWDER SMOKE

After a long silence, we’re back with some new photos. In January I went up to SF to see some old friends and play a show with Acre, Forked and Sutekh Hexen. My good friend Sarah B set up a private tour of the Armory in SF, now owned by Peter Acworth’s Kink.com who has turned the formerly disused building into a beautiful 4-story fetish pornography studio.

These photos are from the “dirty shower” and “clean shower” areas, as well as the Device Bondage studio. More to come soon.

DEPARTURE FROM THE INTERIOR WASTELAND

My friends Emeralds played in Los Angeles last night at the Henry Fonda Theater. It was a fantastic set right from the start but it took me a while to start recording video. I managed to capture the last 10 minutes of their set.

Check Hanson Records for Emeralds and related records & cassettes.

These are some photographs I took in February 2004 in Chicago at the Garfield Park Conservatory. Thanks to Mark Solotroff for introducing me to the place and taking me there on numerous visits. One of these shots found its way to the Hive Mind Vade Mecum CD cover, and a few others were/are slated for the as-yet-unreleased Elemental Disgrace LP cover.
