SOLDIER'S DISEASE

REQUIRED READING

I’m a sucker for picking up killer chapbooks when I see them. Here’s a few covers from books I’ve scored up since I moved to out to LA from MI. The PRISON book is interviews with prisoners and faculty at different prison, about day-to-day activities and problems in prisons. The others are all fairly self-explanatory.

Scans from “Love for Money”, a 1969 guidebook to prostitution houses and neighborhoods all across Germany with poorly-drawn maps and some great photos.

Scanned from some magazine that can only be described as 100% biker porno. No articles, no ads; nothing but photos of ladies. The cover is unfortunately missing so I have no idea what this thing is called. The ol’ lady & party photos are generally more interesting than the actual photo shoots in the mag, so a few of those are presented here.

The best of the best. They’re having more fun than you. They understand freedom. It’s in the eyes; in the smiles; in the posture. Hard livin’ is good livin’. FTW.

Ripped from an old issue of one of my favorites (and one of the hardest to pin down) – PUB magazine, started in ’76 and full of interesting articles, pornography and art . Can’t find any credits for this stuff in any of the issues it appears in – maybe it’s better that way. Love the lines and the subject matter on most of the stuff this person drew.
